Our to do lists are long when it comes to everything that we need to accomplish for our holiday events and celebrations. There are many last minute trips to the store; for party supplies, hostess gifts, boxes of chocolate and extra eggnog. In other words, you need some help when it comes to getting it all to come together. I will gladly step in and be your Christmas Elf. Today I am gifting you a free printable chickadee card. All you need is a printer, scissors, maybe some craft paper and double sided tape (you could honestly do without the last two).
I like to have a blank card on hand for thanking a teacher or bus driver for taking care of my kids. A card is a thoughtful addition to a tin of cookies for a friend or for those impromptu holiday neighbour drop in visits. Sending a card in the mail is always a special and unexpected Christmas joy as well.
This chickadee card is easily a click away. Just click the link and you will be taken to the Free Printable Page to grab your PDF. Click on the chickadee picture and your card will download to your device. The card is best if printed as is. It is approximately 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches. I recommend using white or cream card stock so that your card is sturdy and able to stand up. You will need double sided tape if you are cutting out and adhering the chickadee card to card stock.
Once you print out your card, you can use it in many different ways. You can fold it and use it as a stand up card. A one sided card works as well with some card stock.
One of my favorite ways to use a blank card is to frame it and put it on display. I love to change out these watercolour images with the changing holidays and seasons. Don’t forget to check out the entire line of cards, Christmas Wrapping Paper, Floral Bookmarks, Gift Tags and much more on the Free Printables page.
This chickadee design has been my most popular watercolour this holiday season (with the Chickadee Pillow Cover and Chickadee Ornament selling like hotcakes)
Last year I designed the Vintage Red Truck for the Christmas card freebie that is also available to you.
I hope you will take these ideas and create your own cards to give away. If you liked what you read, please share the love with a share, comment or pin. Thank you!
Blessings from my house to yours,
Darlene
